Confidence boost?

Today I was worried about the 5 minute run we were going to have at practice, I was terrified that coach would yell at me, all she told me to do was catch up. That wasn't so bad. The only problem was that previously before practice, my aunt left my cousin with me to watch him. Since I didn't sleep at all the night before, I wanted to nap. I told him to do his homework and don't hurt himself while I nap. AND I specifically told him that when his mom knocked on the door, to wake me up so I can open the door. In case he was going to run away, I locked the door and turned the security alarm on. I woke up to a screeching sound from the alarm system, at first I didn't know what it was, but it was real annoying. I rushed to the living room, half-asleep, to my surprise it was the alarm, and there I see my cousin and his brother standing there....watching TV?! I mean are they fucking stupid? Are they aware that my alarm is alerting the police as they stood there? I panicked, and thank god, I remembered the code. My heart raced. It beat so quickly, I was scared. My cousins left and I wanted to nap so I had energy to practice. I couldn't sleep, my heart wouldn't stop beating so quickly.

I arrived to practice and my heart hurt..I thought I was going to have a bad day. Surprisingly, I blocked the ball 6+ times, caught the ball WITHOUT falling, and executed the plays correctly, coach even pointed it out. I also learned that I had no errors last game.

I later called coach to ask when practice was on Saturday, because if you didn't already know, I have to go to the chiropractor every Saturday. She told me that I was the smartest person on the team basketball wise all I needed to was get faster. That seriously raised my confidence so much. I always thought I sucked or that I was decent at basketball. Now all I need to do is get faster...
